biography

Soon after graduating with a BA in Architecture, Lebanese director Hussen lbraheem decided to follow his passion for cinema. He studied at the Red Sea Institute for Cinematic Arts-a branch of the University of Southern California in ordan-and graduated with a masters. His short films were awarded and selected for many international film festivals. Besides working on his short film ‘Field of View’, Hussen is developing his debut feature film ‘Tide’, and he now lives between Beirut and Berlin.

logline / short synopsis

Zahi returns to Lebanon to organize his father’s funeral. His father was abducted and went missing during the Lebanese Civil War. He finds himself trapped between two separate worlds, where no communication is possible.
