Berlin based filmmaker Summer Agnew is a graduate of the Elam School of Fine Arts. He was awarded the SPADA New Zealand Filmmaker of the year and Best Director at Oscar qualifying Show me Shorts film festival. His works include the documentaries MINGINUI, KAPITI ART PROJECT and ON AN UNKNOWN BEACH and narrative shorts PATU IHU and THE BROTHER all of which explore the wonderfully tragic modern world that we’re building for ourselves.

logline / short synopsis
When a fantasy phone line operator receives the deathbed confessions of a regretful father she must unknot her own traumatic past to heal their family-inflicted wounds.
